Researchers' Night 2012 - Romania

Researchers' Night is a project initiated by the European Union taking place in all countries and affiliates on the fourth Friday of September. Its main objective is to bring together researchers and the public at large allowing interaction with science and scientists in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
One of the main messages of Researchers' Night is that researchers are "ordinary people with an extraordinary job", contributing to the community development with their day to day activity. The event is intended to change the current perceptions of researchers portraying them as active members of the society and, at the same time, provide a stimulus for young people to consider a scientific career.
